Every dish has its own story

I believe that every dish is talking about itself. It tells us about cultures, tastes, occasions, and other aspects that we did not notice. We grow up eating the food of our cultures. Food is associated with us from our childhood with emotions and memories, and it also ties us with our family and define who we are, where you come from.Food also reminds us our memories. As we grow up, we seek the comfort food in times of stress and frustration. When I am in the blue, I always want to eat sweet food and it reminds me the moment my mom gave me an ice cream when I cried.

BACKSTORY

I am lucky to get chances to travel across countries since I was nine. I visited in total of seven countries and ate different cuisine in those countries. Let's get back to my adventures !

Singapore

This is my first time I traveled to other country. My brother was studying in Singapore and I got a chance to visit him in there. It was such a beautiful and tidy country that I have ever seen before.

Europe

Luckily, my dream came true and I got a chance to travel to Europe and visit beautiful Europe cities. Even though somethings wrong happened, it still was one of the most interesting trips. I learned new things about cultures, cuisines, fashions, and etc.

2018

Before landing to Canada, I transited in Taiwan. I was kind of surprised and love this country because of its food. Actually, it is a heaven of food. I wish I could get back here.

Finally, I reach my very first step in Canada. My study abroad adventure began in August, 2018. I was so excited and curious about this beautiful country with a diverse culture and friendly people, and especially delicious food.

In summer 2019, I got a chance to the United States. I felt I am more brave and confident when traveling alone to another country. New York is the city that never sleeps.

Now, I am here to tell you about my travel story and how cultures are reflected exactly in cuisines. It was a long long story that reminds your childhood life and how food define your cultural identity. Food also inspire me with some interesting ideas that I would like to share with you!
